AMD Hits Record $1.65 Billion in 2nd Quarter,

According to Intel latest published quarterly accounts in AMD Sales Figures – we can say that Intel has the best quarterly sales ever. The figures shows 2 accounts with surplus in red numbers on the bottom line. The deficit comes against a background of strong growth in turnover for the second quarter landed at 1.65 billion dollars, an increase of 40 % compared with same period last year .
Despite the increased turnover AMD was spending a bit bigger, and it resulted in a deficit of $ 43,000,000 with a net loss of million or $.06 per share . Despite the deficit so the result was better than expected as analysts had thought the deficit would be larger. In particular sales of graphics chips that have been really good.
The launch of the Radeon HD 5000 series has increased its turnover on the graphics market with a full 87 % over the same period last year , and 8 % compared with last quarter.
