Hacking HTC Desire and HTC Legend makes you enable to customize your android phone according to your requirements. HTC’ android interface  user experience is good . But there are obviously still people who prefer to be able to alter his mobile, so it will be exactly as they want it. And it is now possible with the two latest Android handsets from HTC.

Open to new software
Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo has the site for now on his Twitter page written that he has made a so-called ‘root’ on both HTC Desire and Legend. It is required that an Android mobile is root, if you for example want to install an unofficial firmware on it. For example, it should therefore now be possible to install the firmware from Nexus One of Desire, if you prefer Android without HTC’s adaptations. In addition, some programs also that mobile is root before you can install them.
