In order to use the ReadyBoost you just simply the insert the USB key or SD card into a USB port2.0 . When you insert USB key or SD card in the computer Window Vista or Windows7 automatically check whether the system can use the ReadyBoost device. When Vista or Windows7 have done it will ask if you want to use the device to make the system faster.
How to use the ReadyBoost Device:
Step 1:
Plug your USB key in a free USB 2.0 port on your PC.

Step 2:
Windows Vista or Windows7 will now check if your unit is fast enough to be used for ReadyBoost. Once Vista is done automatically it will ask whether you want to make the system faster. Click to make the system faster if the item is not listed it is because the device is not fast enough.
Step 3:
Windows will now display the device’s Properties box. Click use this device and select how many MB you want to use to improve speed. The more MB you choose the better result you get. The maximum ReadyBoost can exploit is 4090 MB. when you set the click OK.
