Pwnage Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware Step By Step Guide

Pwnage Jailbreak 3.1.3 Guide:

First Step:

First of all you will have to create a folder on your desktop with the name of  Pwnage,  then download the  PwnageTool 3.1.5 and iPhone firmware 3.1.3 and put them in the Pwnage folder. Once you have download the IPSW file then uncompress the file.

Second Step:

Then you will double click the DMG file to mount PwnageTool and then move the file into the pwnage folder.  Then double
 
click to launch the PwnageTool application. Then again double click the PwnageTool in the Pwnage folder to start application.Click Ok button if any warning pop up appears.

Third Step:

Now click on Expert Mode button at the menu.

Fourth Step:

Now select your iPhone mode with check box will appear.

Fifth Step:

Now click on blue arrow to move forward. The next screen yo will  see  “Browse for IPSW”. Now find thePwnageTool  IPSW file and click “Browse for IPSW”. Click on the found IPSW file, which will then get a check mark by it. Then click on the blue arrow to continue.

Sixth Step:

Now select General and click the blue arrow. Under General settings, select the partition size and select Activate the phone unless you are with a provider who has already activated your phone. Then again click the blue arrow. Must remember following two things

• You must choose NOT activate if you have a provider who has activated your phone.
• It may be that you need to configure your root partition to somewhere around 700 MB to get IPSW file created successfully.

Here BootNeuter options are not available, click on the blue arrow.

Here Cydia Settings allows you to create custom packages that allow you not to do this manually later.

Now choose Download Packages, then click on Refresh to view available packages. After double clicking on a package downloading will start and it will then be visible in Select Packages.

Now tick on the packages you want, then click on the blue arrow to move forward.

Custom packages settings menu displays options for the packages you want for your custom IPSW. Click the blue arrow.

Custom logos settings allows you to choose their own images as boot logos. click browse to select the boot and recovery logo. Note: RGB or Grayscale and dimensions of 320 × 480. Click on the blue arrow.

Seventh Step:

Now click Build button and click the blue arrow to move forward.

Eighth Step:

You will be prompted to save your custom IPSW file, save this in your pwnage folder. The process has now started and now, just wait.

You will be prompted to enter your administrator password, make it and press ok. You will be asked if your iPhone has been pwned before, if you’re not sure so no pressure.

Ninth Step:

If you have not already set up your iPhone in usb so do this now. Pwnage tool will now put your iPhone in recovery mode. click ok for that if obtained from a popup.

iTunes will now display a popup with the discovery of an iPhone in recovery mode.

Tenth Step:

In iTunes, hold down Alt / Option button and click Restore.

Eleventh Step:

Navigate to your Pwnage folder, choose your custom IPSW and click the choose button.

Twelveth Step:

iTunes now carries out a restore of your iPhone. this may take a little time once you are finished, your phone and reboot your phone is now jailbroken.
