Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Upgrade will get Android in Q4 2010

Just recently Xperia X10 recieved  update from Android 1.6 to 2.x but now it seems another update. Sony Ericsson has said on his blog that that X10  will be upgraded to Android 2.1 in the Q4 2010. Here is brief intro of  UXP upgrade for Xperia X10 in Q4 2010 are:

  • Upgrade to Android OS version 2.1
  • HD video recording as Sony Ericsson Vivaz (perhaps with continuous autofocus?); added DLNA functionality
  • A dded DLNA functionality (Wireless home connectivity via DLNA)
  • Improvements to signature applications Timescape™ and Mediascape to make them even smarter and richer

X10 User will get X10 in the next few weeks to improve the phone’s usability and ydeeevne. Sony Ericsson has also said that  both X10 and X10 Mini Mini Pro will be upgraded to Android 2.1 in the fourth quarter of 2010.

The upgrade will be made available to consumers through the update service at www.sonyericsson.com
