Android Tablet: ViewPad 4 Tablet PC in Smartphone Format

ViewSonic has unveiled the new android tablet PC called ViewPad 4 at Mobile World Congress(MWC). The new Smartphone based tablet computer ViewPad 4 offers the same features compared to its big brother ViewPad 7.

ViewPad 4 tablet PC Features

The Viewpad 4 android tablet computer features reveals that it has a 4.1-inch touch screen display so you can also call it a android smartphone.  All text entries are entered via an on-screen keyboard, a hardware keyboard is not available. The new android tablet pc has the four typical Android-buttons, but dedicated phone keys, and a 5-way navigator missing.

The ViewPad 4 tablet has a  5-megapixel camera on the back which can easily record video in 720p resolution. There is a font camera for video calling  and an HDMI output is also available.

The ViewPad 4 android tablet PC is powered by Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor with 1GHz. It is running on Google mobile OS Android 2.2 , which is outdated with the release of Android 2.3 now.

The Viewpad 4 android tablet computer will be available in mid-2011, however, its price is not yet announced.
